We are a little more than a month into the New Year, and this is the point when many people lose the motivation to stick to their fitness resolutions. Let us help you stay on track by scheduling your next 1-on-1 training session with us today. 

Looking for other ways to help you persevere? It's time for our annual Exercise Around the World contest, in which FitnessWise clients compete for prizes as they "travel" around the world. No need to update your passport or suffer through immunizations or TSA indignities for this trip. All you need is your imagination and competitive spirit. Sign up at the Front Desk and look for details posted throughout the FitnessWise Center.

Also, Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and it's OK to indulge in a little chocolate and champagne. Why not schedule a couple's workout session to counteract it and experience a unique and fun way to add a little romance to your relationship at the same time?

Exercise Around the World Contest   
Friday, February 15 - Friday, March 15  

The contest kicks off on February 15, and you will have until March 15 to travel 40,800 miles. Your journey begins in Washington, D.C., with stops in Canada, Iceland, Spain, Cairo, Djibouti, Madagascar, Australia, Christmas Island, Kuala Lumpur, Taiwan, Japan, Alaska, San Francisco, and back to D.C.

Mile are earned through resistance training, cardiovascular training, TRX sessions and several bonus challenges. Details and a sign-up sheet are located at the Front Desk. See a FitnessWise Team Member if you have any questions.

Classes at the Mind-Body Studio

We're excited to offer TRX Suspension Training in a Small Group format at the Mind-Body Studio at FitnessWise.  TRX Training builds true functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once, using just your own bodyweight.  Whether for the playing field or for a life on the go, TRX Training will help you safely and rapidly improve your fitness, regardless of age or fitness level.

Due to space limitations, we are capping the class at (4) participants. To facilitate this change we ask that if you would like to attend a class, you sign-up online. You can attempt to drop-in during class time the morning of, but if 4 people have already signed-up for the class, you will NOT be able to participate. Online sign-up is a first come, first serve basis with a two person wait list. We encourage you to sign-up as soon as you know your personal schedule for the weekend.
